Carbon credits from projects we operate
Each credit comes from a project that BAM develops and operates directly in the Peruvian Amazon, with a verifiable public record.
Why BAM
Verifiable integrity
-
Traceability down to the hectare
We do not act as intermediaries for third-party credits. Each credit corresponds to a territory that we manage, with its registration, methodology, and verification reports available to the public.
-
Two projects, two models
REDD+ Castañeros conserves 620,775 hectares in partnership with 700 concessionaire families. The Last Habitat protects 14,507 hectares of land directly owned by BAM, of which 8,049 are designated as a Private Conservation Area.
-
Benefits Beyond Carbon
CCB Certification, 660 species listed at The Last Habitat, 25 of which are on the IUCN Red List, and 1,535 families associated with the two projects.
